What is Love On Harbor Island About?
The Hallmark movie premieres on August 8 and it centers on a woman named Lily Summers. She is an interior designer that works in Seattle. She ends up coming back to her hometown of Harbor Island. Her mission is to help her aunt Maggie (Brenda Matthews) run the bed-and-breakfast.
While helping Maggie, Lily meets Marcus (Marcus Rosner), who is a handsome seaplane pilot. His life mission is to deliver rescue dogs. As the two get to know one another, Lily begins to question her life choices.
Morgan Kohan Talks COVID-19
According to MediaVillage, Morgan can relate a bit to the character of Lily. Interestingly enough, COVID-19 was also mentioned. The actress explained the lessons she learned from the pandemic, as well as what viewers will learn from Love on Harbor Island. She said,
“It’s a nice message of, ‘Maybe what you’re meant to like is not necessarily what’s perfect for you, and you need to figure that out on your own’. Maybe taking the blinders off for a moment and seeing what’s around you, is something I really related to. COVID-19 has kind of done that for me.”
Hallmark Star Looks At The Positive
Morgan added that it makes you look to see what’s really working and if certain things feel right. If there is a positive to come out of the whole ordeal, it’s forced Morgan to slow down. She added,

“It’s forced me to slow down and that’s been nice. I’m sure it’s the same for everybody, as so much is up in the air and unknown. We have no idea when everything is going to reopen, or if it will, and if it does, what kind of work will be there afterward? If opportunities arise now, you really have to try and forget being so specific about things and be thankful for the opportunities presented, hope they will continue to come and grab what’s in front of you and what’s working right now.”
