They Looked At Her Background And Hollywood History

Simply put, it seems as though Meghan Markle wasn’t even given a chance, to begin with just because Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family looked at her history and her background as a Hollywood actress. As a matter of fact, reports have even indicated that William allegedly referred to Meghan as “Harry’s showgirl.” Ouch. That has got to hurt.

They Saw Her As Too Much Of An Outsider

When it comes to the British monarchy, the class is everything. Many members of the royal family were hoping that Prince Harry would fall in love with someone from the upper crust of British high society, but that didn’t happen. Meghan wasn’t someone who ran in the same social circle as William and Kate, nor did she attend the same universities as many friends in their circle did. Meghan is highly educated and successful, but she was too much of an outsider with too much of an American work ethic for the royals and their staff members behind the scenes.

They Let Jealousy Get In The Way

While no one really knows what happened between the Cambridges and Sussexes behind closed doors, it’s been suggested that Prince William and Kate Middleton were incredibly jealous of seeing Meghan in the spotlight and as they say, stealing her thunder.
