The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, August 12 – Chelsea Hears The Truth From Victor – Abby’s Site Shut Down – Amanda Surprises Nate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 12, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will arrive at the Grand Phoenix to find Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) reviewing contracts. Nate will wonder if Amanda has some time for a date, but Amanda will say that she has too much work. Across the room, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will chat with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) had Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Nick will want Abby to accept his offer and abandon her hotel project across the street from the Grand Phoenix, but she’ll balk.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Sets To Prove Victor Newman Wrong

Next on Y&R, over at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, Adam will look through evidence trying to find proof that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) set him up for the murder of AJ Montalvo. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will listen as Adam vents about Victor, and Chelsea will head out for some errands while Adam gets a message from Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) that she’s left Genoa City and that he should give it all a rest.

Chelsea will go to the ranch to see Victor with questions about what happened with Adam back in the day. Victor will explain that he was just trying to protect Adam from reality and that Adam’s mom Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) did too, even though it was difficult. Chelsea will ask for corroboration of Victor’s story, and he’ll say that the farm’s caretaker assisted in the coverup. Victor will ask Chelsea to help Adam through all of this.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Reluctantly Supports Her Parents

Next on Y&R, at Society, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be dining together when Nate calls needing some help at the clinic. Devon will urge Elena to go, and she’ll rush off. And over at Crimson Lights, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will hear from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that she and Nick are back together. Summer won’t be thrilled, but she’ll say that she won’t argue with Phyllis or Nick about it. Later, Summer will see Nick and she’ll promise not to give him attitude about it, either.

Later, Chelsea will return to the penthouse and get updates from Adam about Alyssa’s message. Adam will say that he’s going to contact the farm caretaker to get some answers from him, and Chelsea will wonder if Adam really wants to go down that road. But Adam will get right on the phone and call the caretaker to invite him to Genoa City to talk.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Gets Abby Newman’s Construction Site Shut Down

Next on Y&R, at the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis and Nick will meet up in Phyllis’ room, and as they’re canoodling, Phyllis will tell Nick that she had Abby’s construction site shut down after putting some fossils on the property to be found. Nick will be flustered, and he’ll tell Phyllis that he had been trying to get Abby to abandon the hotel project himself. Phyllis will be impressed that Nick was willing to go to those lengths.

In Abby’s room, Chance and Abby will talk about Nick’s earlier offer. Abby will say that while Nick’s offer is lucrative, she just can’t pass up the opportunity to stick it to Phyllis. Soon, the construction noise will stop, and Abby will get a call saying that her construction site got shut down. Abby will play it cool, and Chance will be impressed with how Abby’s handling it all.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Pleasantly Surprises Nate Hastings

Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of Y&R, Nate and Elena will be working and talking at the clinic, when Amanda shows up, saying that there’s more to life than working. Nate will be happy to see Amanda, and Elena will go back over to Society to reconnect with Devon.
