They might be known as a royal family but in some cases, they are also a modern, blended family as well. Even though the spotlight is usually on royal weddings and the births of royal babies, there are some royals out there who are also stepparents. Check out our list below.
#1 Princess Beatrice
While Princess Beatrice herself has made no indication as to whether or not she’s ready for motherhood just yet, at least she’s getting some experience in with her new stepson, Wolfie. The four-year-old is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s one and only child from a previous relationship. Even though Beatrice herself has not made any comments about her new role, it’s been noted that she and Wolfie get along quite well.
#2 Camilla Parker Bowles
When Camilla Parker Bowles married Prince Charles back in 2005, she became a royal stepmother to two of the most eligible royal bachelors at the time: Prince William and Prince Harry. While there’s no doubt that their mother Princess Diana will always have a very special place in William and Harry’s heart, the two young princes respect their stepmother as they know Camila makes their father Prince Charles very happy.
#3 Prince Charles
Speaking of Prince Charles, when he married Camilla Parker Bowles, he also acquired two stepchildren as well. Camilla’s two children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, are from her marriage to her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.
#4 Princess Marie Of Denmark
While she might not be a headline grabber like some of the British royals are, Princess Marie is well known in Denmark. She is married to Prince Joachim of Denman and the couple has two children, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena. However, she also has two step-children, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix, from Joachim’s first marriage to Alexandra, the Countess of Frederiksborg. Earlier this month the entire family celebrated Prince Felix’s 18 birthday in France.

#5 Queen Noor Of Jordan
When Queen Noor married into the royal family of Jordan, she didn’t just get one stepchild, but eight! Queen Noor married King Hussein of Jordan back in 1978. However, he was married several times prior to his marriage to Queen Noor. In addition to her eight stepchildren, the couple also has four children together: Prince Hamzah bin Hussein, Prince Hashim bin Hussein, Princess Iman bint Hussein, and Princess Raiyah bin Hussein.
