The Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday, August 27: Billy Gets Intel On Adam & Victor – Chelsea Interrupts Sharon & Adam In Kansas

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates for Thursday, August 27, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be brooding at the New Hope Clinic when Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) walks in and starts to ask him questions about his recent dates with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Nate won’t be in the mood for grilling, and he’ll be irritated to learn that Amanda and Elena have been talking about him.

Elena will ask if Nate’s upset with her, and he’ll say no, but that he and Amanda are just casually dating. Nate will say that someday, he wants a relationship like what she and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) have. Later, Elena will call Devon and say that she’s been thinking about him.

Next on Y&R, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will meet up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the Grand Phoenix. Victoria will proceed to tell Billy something that she thinks will guarantee more eyes on the Chancellor Communications news site – the whole story about how Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) killed AJ Montalvo and an 11-year-old boy, how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) covered up the crime, and how Adam blackmailed Victor with the information.

Victoria will point Billy in the direction of Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico), who knows the whole story. Victoria will want Billy to be discreet about how he investigates the matter, but Billy will say that Victor will ultimately find out that Victoria was behind this. Victoria will be ok with that, saying that she’s simply dealing with the competition for her job (i.e., Victor).

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Intervenes In A Dispute

Next on Y&R, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will talk with Amanda at Chancellor Communications. Lily will be a wonder if Amanda’s past friendship with Billy will make it difficult for them to have a working relationship, but Amanda won’t appreciate getting grilled. Amanda will tell Lily that there’s absolutely no issue there. Soon, Billy will arrive and tell Lily and Amanda all about Victoria’s story about Adam and Victor.

Lily will worry about running the story without solid proof, but Billy will be revving to go on the whole thing. Lily will argue that they could be sued by Victor if they aren’t careful, and she and Billy will bicker. Amanda will intervene, saying that they would need proof if they run the story. Billy will think that Amanda’s taking his side, but when Lily steps out for a moment, she’ll nip that in the bud. Amanda will say that she’s doing her job, which is to mitigate risk.

Billy will suggest that he and Amanda get a drink, but Amanda will turn him down and take off. Lily will return and she and Billy will argue some more about the story. Billy will promise to get all the proof they need to run the story. Lily will say that they’ll see about that.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair & Nate Hastings Have An Uncomfortable Conversation

Next on Y&R, Amanda and Nate will meet up at the Grand Phoenix for drinks. Amanda will vent about Billy to Nate, without giving him work-specific details. Amanda will gripe about Billy being a risk-taker and how she constantly feels that she needs to reign him in. Nate will think that Billy seems to need Amanda and that they’re a good team – just like he and Elena are a good team.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Blasts Victor Newman For His Parenting Choices

Over at Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at the bar. Victor will tell nick that Adam took off in a bad state, but Nick won’t have much sympathy for his brother. Nick will feel like Adam will get through this just fine, and he’ll be especially aggravated when he learns that Victor gave Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) the Newman jet to go to Kansas.

Nick will be peeved that of all the therapists out there, Adam just had to have Sharon to help him. Victor will defend the decision, and Nick will point out that Victor should focus his energies worrying about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), not Adam. Victor will insist that he’d have protected any of his children just like he protected Adam, and Nick will leave in a huff.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Confronts Sharon Newman In Kansas

Next on Y&R, at the Kansas farmhouse, Sharon will think that it’s time for Adam to leave the farmhouse now that he’s regained his memories of killing AJ. Adam won’t want to go, and he’ll recount how much rage and anger he felt in the moments leading up to AJ’s death. Sharon will insist that Adam not judge himself, since he was just a boy at the time who was trying to protect his mother.

Adam will rest, yet he’ll be plagued with memories and nightmares as he does. Later, Sharon will tell Adam that she’s there for him and that she’ll support him. After Adam walks out of the room, Sharon will turn and suddenly Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will walk in and blast Sharon. Chelsea will complain about how things are working out exactly as Sharon planned, and she’ll want to know why Sharon didn’t tell her that Adam was in Kansas.

Sharon will go into therapist mode and say that they need to focus on Adam right now, but Chelsea won’t be having any of it. Adam will return to the room and be stunned to see Chelsea there. Chelsea will go to Adam and tell him that it’s time to come home now, then she’ll turn to Sharon and say that Sharon has done enough.
