Meghan Markle’s Father Makes A Heartbreaking Plea Before The Holidays

All Meghan Markle’s father wants for Christmas is a text message from his daughter. In fact, Thomas Markle Senior has once again appeared in an interview with a British talk show in hopes that the Duchess of Sussex will finally reach out to him during this holiday season.

According to the Washington Post, Thomas Markle is tired of staying silent and wants the world to know that he misses having his daughter Meghan in his life. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently expecting their first child together. Thomas is worried that he is going to miss out on being a grandfather to their child.

“Every day I try to text her, I just haven’t received any comment back,” Markle said in an interview with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid. “I keep asking her to respond back to me, I haven’t got any response back.”

Thomas also added that he wants to put their issues behind them and hopefully work on repairing their relationship. When asked if he has a message for the Duchess, he said, “I love you very much, you’re my daughter and we would like to hear from you. Whatever differences or problems we have, we should be able to work them out. We’re family. So, please reach out to me. There has to be a place for me, I’m her father — and I will be the grandfather to her children.”

Meghan Markle has reportedly not spoken to her father ever since he didn’t show up at her royal wedding back in May. Thomas was supposed to fly to London a few days before the wedding but canceled at the very last minute, citing health issues.
