The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, September 8 – Elena Opens Up To Nate – Sharon’s Horrible News – Chance Assumes The Worst

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will grab some coffee at Crimson Lights. Elena will be clearly upset about Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) decision to ask Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for help with the DNA test. Elena will grump a little about Nate “pressuring” Amanda into the decision, but Nate will explain that it wasn’t like that.

Soon, Nate and Elena will be joined by Devon, who will give Nate a box containing Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) comb, barrettes, and hair ties. Devon will say that he thinks that Hilary would have wanted to help, and after Nate goes, Devon will thank Elena for helping him to make the decision – he’ll say that he followed his heart just as Elena urged him to do.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Worries About Devon Hamilton’s Decision

Next on Y&R, Elena will summon Nate for a meeting in Chancellor Park. Elena will be upset, and she’ll tell Nate that she didn’t think that Devon would decide to help Amanda with the DNA test. Elena will say that she doesn’t want Devon to do this, and Nate will have a hard time understanding why. Elena will say that she’s afraid of where this all might lead.

Nate will think that the insinuation that Amanda and Devon could get together over the DNA test results is ridiculous and unrealistic. Nate will talk Elena down a bit, and he’ll remind her that Devon is committed to her and only her. Elena will say that Nate’s right, but she will still think that the results are going to come back positive and that it will change everything.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Newman Insists On Getting Her Pathology Results Alone

Next on Y&R, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will ask Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to let her go to the doctor’s office and get her test results alone. Rey won’t be happy about it, but he’ll say that if that’s what Sharon needs, then he’s on board with it.

Meanwhile, over at Society, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will show up to see Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Theo will want to clear the air about their argument earlier, but Lola will be snippy with Theo and she’ll refuse to make time for him. Eventually, Theo will insist that they talk, but Lola will explode, telling Theo that he’s a time waster and that her time is valuable.

Lola will blast Theo for blowing off their lunch plans, and she’ll tell him to leave. Rey will arrive and see the last few moments of Lola and Theo’s conversation, then he’ll talk with Lola to make sure everything’s ok. Soon, the talk will turn to Sharon, and Rey will relay how Sharon didn’t want him to go with her to the doctor’s office. Lola will support her brother.

At the Grand Phoenix, Theo will have a drink at the bar, still worried about his earlier argument with Lola. Theo will text Lola asking if they can finish their talk, but Lola will respond that she’s tired and is going to bed. Theo will look irritated.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Newman Gets Devastating News About Her Cancer

Next on Y&R, back at Sharon’s place, Sharon will come home to find no one there. Sharon will have her test results in an envelope, and she’ll read them over. The news obviously won’t be good.

At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) motel room, Adam will find Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) at the door. Chance will tell Adam about Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) asking questions, but Adam will want Chance to leave. Chance will refuse to go, and he’ll insist that Adam tell him why he ran off. Adam won’t open up to chance.

Soon, Sharon will arrive, and Chance will immediately assume that Sharon and Adam are having an affair and meeting at the hotel. Chance will be upset and leave. Sharon and Adam will then argue about Chance seeing them together. Adam won’t think that Chance will tell anyone, and Sharon will ultimately lash out at Adam, blasting him for getting her wrapped up with his problems when other people have bigger problems.

Next, Sharon will tell Adam that she’s not going to help him anymore and that he needs more help than she can offer him. Sharon will go, and afterward, Adam will sit alone in the motel room distraught.

Back at Sharon’s house, Rey and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will wonder where Sharon could be, as they’ll want to support her in whatever news she got from the doctor. Soon, Mariah will go make some tea, and Rey will suddenly see the envelope from the doctor on the table. Rey will read the pathology results, and he’ll see that the news is grim.

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Y&R, Rey will get rid of Mariah, and he’ll be waiting when Sharon comes home. Sharon will tell Rey that she returned from the doctor’s office, but nobody was there. Rey will apologize, and he’ll tell Sharon that he saw the pathology results. Sharon will fall to the floor sobbing.
