The actress also talked about Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) dirty and devious moves during the custody hearing. Nicole is feeling like she failed Allie and the baby. The soap star explained,

“There’s a little bit of Nicole that feels she didn’t put up enough of a fight… there’s a huge amount of disappointment in herself. Sami brought up all these things that Nicole did in her life that she’s tried to move past. It’s just a little bit of a reminder of who she used to be. She wasn’t able to help this young girl who she’s developed an attachment to, even though she’s Sami’s daughter, and of course, the baby… she couldn’t help this girl, she feels like a failure.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eric plays a huge part in Nicole and Allie’s future before he leaves Salem. He ends up having a discussion with Sami on how things can be fixed. The two come up with a plan, which Sami brings to Allie’s attention. She agrees to give up the baby and hand him over to Nicole. However, there is a condition that Allie must live with Nicole.

During the interview, Zucker explained Sami’s total 180 regarding Allie’s baby. It is a surprising compromise, but it’s really the best of both worlds.

“Nicole gets to help with the baby and Allie gets to bond with her son, as well, and Sami stays away.”

The actress also made a point to say that deep down inside, Sami and Nicole do respect one another. They may not like each other very much, but they do have a mutual respect. Zucker also said that Allie’s baby has a beautiful future ahead and it shouldn’t be ruined just because Sami and Nicole can’t get along.
