According to TV Line, the Christmas movie centers on a woman named Regina Fuller (Christine Baranski). She is described as a wealthy, but a nasty woman who goes back to her hometown following her father’s death. She plans to kick everyone out and sell the land to a developer, who will build a shopping mall. She also plans on doing this right before Christmas.

However, Christmas on the Square will feature an angel (Dolly Parton), who will provide guidance to Regina. Plus, she listens to stories from the local residents and reconnects with a former flame (Treat Williams). All of these factors lead to Regina starting to have a change of heart.

In addition to Parton, Baranski, and Williams, casting also includes Jenifer Lewis, Josh Segarra, Jeanine Mason, Mary Lane Haskell, Matthew Johnson, Selah Kimbro Jones, Douglas Sills, Vivian Nixon, Mary Donnelly Haskell, Donald Corren, Brandon Hudson, and Brandon O’Neal.

Christmas on the Square will premiere on Netflix on Sunday, November 22.
