Orpheus assures John the baby will be ok as long as Marlena comes through with her part of the deal. Orpheus promises he is using Marlena to get Christian out of Bayview. John doesn’t believe Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will do Orpheus’ bidding. Orpheus tells John the baby will never be seen again if Marlena doesn’t come through. John threatens to take Orpheus hostage. John gives Orpheus his gun when he tells him the baby will be killed if anything happens to him.
