In fall 2005 People added fuel to the fire when it reported that the costars had been, “very cozy with each other” during the film’s wrap party and later reported that the hot pair was seen in Chicago, “dancing, eyes locked, before kissing and making out.”

Sadly it was later in the year that rumors of a split began and Vaughn threatened to sue several tabloids after they published, “allegations that he was caught kissing a mystery blonde,” in October.

Jennifer Aniston Was Involved With Vince Vaughn At One Time

Later the actor’s lawyer refuted the claims and said, “Ms. Aniston and Mr. Vaughn had not ended their relationship either at the material time or since. The suggestion that he was having a passionate embrace and kiss, or has ever been unfaithful to Ms. Aniston, are false.”

But about a month later People reported that Vaughn and Aniston were over: “After Jennifer’s trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today,” Aniston’s reps confirmed.

But the following year the normally reticent Vaughn was more talkative about Aniston and told Parade that he and the blonde bombshell enjoyed a “great friendship.”
