The Young And The Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind joins a cast featuring actors from previous Chucky films as well as newbies for the horror drama’s second season, per Deadline. Both USA Network and the Syfy channel have picked up the second season.
Chucy aired its first season final episode on November 30 after a stellar freshman year. Shown in eight parts, the horror drama attracted well over nine million viewers, according to NBC Universal. And starting this month, Chucky will stream on the Peacock digital platform.

Following the seventh movie in the “Cult Of Chucky” franchise, the reboot of the classic horror drama features the voice of Brad Dourif along with Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise McCarthy, and Jennifer Tilly in the list of actors from prior Chucky movies. New cast include Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Lex Doig and Devon Sawa.

“Child’s Play” originator Don Mancini and Channel Zero creator Nick Antosca serve as executive producers with David Kirschner, Alex Hedlund, and Harley Peyton. The series signals the USA Network’s final scripted series. In addition, Chucky wins as one of the Syfy network’s highest rated new cable series.
