The week will start off with a bang when one character must confront the past. On Monday, April 5 look for Jack Landron to appear as Sutton Ames, Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) grandfather.

Not much is known about the character other than that he is the patriarch of the Ames family, which is an upper echelon clan that Amanda’s bio mom Naya Benedict (Ptosha Story) did not want to find out she was pregnant all those years ago.

Landron has appeared on Shameless, Grey’s Anatomy, and Jane the Virgin.

In the middle of the week a fan fave actress Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) will take her leave. Faith is the daughter of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Lind debuted in 2011 and makes her last appearance on Wednesday, April 7. The actress has been cast on the TV series Chucky which is based on the Child’s Play horror movie franchise.

Reylynn Caster has been cast as Faith and fans can expect to see her onscreen later this month.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Week Of April 5, 2021 Brings Back A Long Lost Mom Back To Town

On Thursday, April 8 Ptosha Storey is back onscreen as Naya Benedict. She initially wanted nothing to do with Amanda after her daughter tracked her down with questions about why she gave her up for adoption.

But Naya has had a change of heart now that she desperately needs Amanda’s services. She has asked the legal eagle to defend her father, Sutton Ames. Ames has been accused of murder and not just any old murder!

Apparently he is being accused of murdering Amanda’s biological father, and it’s a case Amanda can’t say no to.
