‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week of July 6: Joey Terrible Scheme, Leslie’s Disturbing News, Tomas Proposes To Kat

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that the CBS soap opera just released its preview for the week of July 6-10, and there are some major moments to note.

Beyond the Gates will not be seen during the week of June 29-July 3.

The CBS soap will air repeats over the next five days; however, fans shouldn’t fret too much, as it seems the week of July 6 will be sizzling hot (and worth the wait)!

Katherine “Kat” Richardson’s Welcome Home Party

The Beyond the Gates promo opens with Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) entering the Dupree mansion, with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria), as her entire family yells, “Surprise!” in the entrance way.

It looks like her family will throw her a surprise “welcome home from the hospital party”, but that won’t be the only shocker she experiences during the week of July 6-10.

Joey Armstrong’s Awful Scheme

As the scenes shift, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) at the casino.

He asks his henchman if Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley) would recognize him. Randy replies, “Maybe? Why?”

This is when Joey tells him, “She’s the job,” as a clip of Randy hugging Vanessa McBride’s (Lauren Buglioli) daughter at a cafe flashes across the screen.

What’s Joey up to now, and will he use Randy to seduce Deanna?

Lawsuit Negotiations

As the Beyond the Gates preview continues, Mike Davis (Pierce Lackey) strolls into Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) office with a smug look on his face.

Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) is next to her husband as she tells Mike that she thinks he’s crazy to believe he’s going to win this case.

This is when Bill’s former employee boldly states that he knows he will the lawsuit.

Bill and Mike are then shown at the table in Bill’s office, with Dr. Madison Montgomery (Kenjah) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) present.

It looks like they’ll try to negotiate a deal where the doctor’s lawsuit is concerned. But will Mike budge?

Speaking of Naomi, she’s shown next with her mom, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) at her home.

Dani tells her that if Naomi reached out for solace in her marriage, everyone would understand (sure, Dani, keep telling yourself that).

This is when Naomi breaks down and tells her mom that she’s been lying “to him” for months. Will Naomi tell her mom the truth about her BRCA gene test results?

Leslie Thomas’ Terrible News

Over at the hospital, Garland Memorial’s new Chief of Staff, Dr. Monica McCormick (Iona Morris Jackson), will deliver some terrible news to Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant).

In the preview, Monica tells Leslie that the partnership the hospital has with the free clinic is over, much to Leslie’s shock.

As the Beyond the Gates promo comes to a close, Tomas is down on one knee in the Dupree living room, with Kat on the couch, next to Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), and Dani watching on.

Tomas asks Kat, “Will you do the honor of my life, and marry me?” The video ends with Kat’s mouth open in shock. Will she say, ‘yes’?
