‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week Of May 19: Vanessa & Joey Get Naughty, Anita’s Reunion, Ashley & Andre Caught

Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate some bombshells in the land of Fairmont Crest. The CBS soap just dropped its May 19-23 preview, and there will be plenty of surprises up ahead. Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) cross a line, while Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) enjoys a reunion.

Vanessa McBride & Joey Armstrong Are Being Bad

Beyond the Gates spoilers note that the show’s preview video opens up with Vanessa and Joey at the diner. Vanessa states, “What can I say? When I’m good, I’m great,” which is when Joey replies, “… and when you’re bad you’re better?” Vanessa then replies with a grin, “You tell me!?”

Joey goes on to say, “Bad is definitely better,” just as Vanessa’s husband, Doug McBride (Jason Graham), walks through the door to see his wife and Joey flirting together. Will Joey and Vanessa cross a line in the bedroom this week?

Anita Dupree’s Reunion

As the promo video progresses, Anita is shown talking to Tracy (Maria Howell) as they enjoy tea, with Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). Anita quickly warns Maria that the first rule as an Articulette is not to flirt with ‘your sister’s’ man.

Vernon quickly asks if he has a say in this, and both ladies look at him and shout, “No!” Is this all in good fun or will there be drama between Anita and Tracy over Vernon?

Ashley Morgan Is Caught

The Beyond the Gates video’s next clip shows Ashley saying, “Thanks, Andre, you’re a good friend” as she and Andre embrace in her apartment.

A scene flashes to Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) outside the door, listening in and ready to walk in. Will Derek catch Ashley and Andre in a compromising position?

Finally, the last clip of the promo video for the week of May 19-23 shows Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) opening up her door, as Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) is there. Leslie comments, “Teddy-boo, what took you so long?”
