The scene begins with a sleek car gliding through the gates of Fairmont Crest, the luxurious estate of the Dupree family. Then the scene shifts-a table is elegantly arranged with a brass sign reading, “Reserved For The Duprees.”

As the family matriarch, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), steps out, someone assists her with her coat, greeting her with a cheerful, “Good Morning, Mrs. Dupree.”

It seems to be the reception area of an upscale hotel; Anita makes her way to a stylish lounge filled with tables, chairs, and a bar, where she joins her eldest daughter. She inquires, “Have you had a chance to talk to Dani (Dani Dupree, portrayed by Karla Mosely)?”

Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) replies that Dani was caught off guard by the affair between Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings).

The scene shifts to show the couple in bed, followed by Dani in the kitchen, overwhelmed with emotion as she screams and hurls objects, shattering a glass.

The scene shifts back to Haley, who suddenly loses control as her car crashes; Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) ominously suggests, “Sounds like attempted murder.”

Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) turns to Haley, concern in her eyes, “I can’t fathom how scared you must have been;” the focus shifts again to Anita and Vernon, at the banquet.

In a sudden turn, she forcefully pushes him onto the bed. Meanwhile, the focus shifts to Haley, who declares, “I fell for a man who complicates everything;” Nicole retorts, “And now you’re facing the messy fallout—get it?” In another scene, Dani storms into Bill’s office, wielding a golf club, her fury palpable as she sweeps everything off his desk, as Vanessa flees in a panic!
