Smitty Smith Is D-O-N-E

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Friday, May 23, suggest that Smitty has been more than patient and accommodating where his husband, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), is concerned.

Martin isn’t the best at communicating with Smitty, and fans know he’s hiding a major secret from his stay-at-home hubby.

Smitty can sense this, but without any concrete proof, it’s hard for him to get overly upset or fully address the situation.

Smitty is on a bit of a mission to get to the bottom of things, especially the reason why Martin keeps having violent dreams.

Added teasers note that Smitty will be fed up with Martin’s lack of communication on Friday, so will he find out the reason Martin can’t sleep well at night?

Ted Richardson’s Accusation

Across town, Ted will have another heated confrontation with Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), and from the sounds of it, he’ll throw out a devastating accusation.

How will Leslie react to this, and will this ‘heads up’ only help her hide her crimes? Ted’s other daughter, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad), seems to think that Leslie is not only behind Laura Peterson’s (Destiny Love) car crash, but also the potassium injection that caused the girl’s recovery to regress severely.

These accusations could trigger Leslie into doing something far more dangerous, so is Ted making the right move here?

Doug McBride’s Epiphany

Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Friday indicate that Doug will realize there’s something “more” between Vanessa and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), and he’s not wrong.

Vanessa is catching feelings for the sketchy casino owner, and as Doug knows how dangerous Joey can be, he’ll start to worry.

But can he convince his wife to stay away from Joey, or will she fluff him off? Then again, she may want to know how Doug knows so much about Joey! Is he ready to come clean?
