Find out more about Wednesday’s show by reading below.

Key Takeaways

• Smitty worries that Martin is in denial.
• Naomi and Jacob struggle with their promises.
• Andre pushes back against Dani’s TV appearance.
• Kat protests while helping Ted.
• Eva and Izaiah revisit romantic memories.

Bradley “Smitty” Smith Worries

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, October 21, suggest that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) will worry that Martin is in denial.

Smitty has some serious charges laid against him in the Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) case, and the evidence keeps mounting.

Still, Smitty has been framed, so here’s hoping that someone gets some proof that helps exonerate the investigative reporter.

As Smitty’s legal nightmare continues, the pressure on Martin and the rest of the family is only getting worse.

Meanwhile, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will feel as if they are not standing by their promises.

The two made a vow that they wouldn’t let their jobs interfere with their relationship.

Still, with tension at an all-time high due to Smitty’s arrest, it looks like both of them will go back on their word.

Andre Richardson’s Pushback

Across town, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will gear up for her Welcome to Your Life appearance; however, Andre will be against the idea.

He may see from a mile away that the show is setting Dani up for heartbreak, which explains why he’ll push back.

Added teasers for later in the week note that Dani will spiral during filming thanks to an “unexpected guest,” and Andre will help his wife pick up the pieces.

In fact, the weekly preview hints at Dani’s public humiliation, so Andre may have good reason to be concerned.

While Andre will be right about his instincts, Dani will still go through with the idea.

Will she regret not listening to her husband?

Kat Richardson’s Protest

Elsewhere, Beyond the Gates spoilers for October 21 hint that as Kat helps Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), she’ll do a little protesting along the way.

Perhaps Kat doesn’t agree with some aspects of his wedding?

Fans will have to tune in to see what this is all about.

Lastly, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami) will reminisce about past romantic memories.

Ah, to be young and in love, right?!

Meanwhile, Dani’s upcoming television appearance and Smitty’s legal troubles promise plenty more drama for Fairmont Crest.

Annemarie’s Take

I think Smitty’s situation is getting worse by the day, and Martin needs to face just how serious things have become. Believing in his husband’s innocence is one thing, but ignoring the mounting evidence won’t make it disappear!

I’m also wondering why Dani would go ahead with this television appearance when Andre clearly has reservations.

Sometimes you really should listen to your spouse, especially when something feels wrong!

And I can’t wait to find out exactly what Kat is protesting. Could Ted’s wedding plans be stirring up more family drama?

Do you think Martin is in denial about Smitty’s situation? And should Dani listen to Andre before it’s too late?
