Cotillion Festivities
The night of the cotillion has finally arrived! During the week of May 18-22, fans can expect to see Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) preparing for her big night, with all the Duprees by her side.
She, along with Jessica (Camryn Jade), will make their debut, and a Platinum Deb will be crowned. As the evening winds down, Jessica and Tyrell Richardson-Smith (Jaden Lucas Miller) will sneak away to have their “first time”.

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of May 18 indicate that the plasma ring investigation will come to a head.
Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) will have strict orders for his assignment and complete it; however, all heck will break loose once he accomplishes his mission. Added teasers indicate a character will die this week, so who will it be?
In other news, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will be completely caught off guard with what they learn, while Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will have to console a colleague.
Could it be that Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) is the one to pass away … or maybe Grayson? Plus, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) console a loved one.
Will this be related to the character death or possibly Samantha? She may not only lose the Platinum Deb crown, but it sounds like Donnell Turner (Alex Cheeks) will also disappoint her.

Regardless, mid-week, Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) will interrogate a perpetrator, so he’ll get involved as the plasma ring goes down.
Massive Emergency
Speaking of Nicole, before the proverbial poop hits the fan and someone dies, she’ll be called away for an emergency.
In addition, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) will do some damage control as the Friday, May 22 episode hits.
Across the way, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will wonder if her boyfriend, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) has anything to do with what’s gone down.
Still, is this about the plasma ring or something else? Back to Donnell, he’ll have hard questions for his mom, so this might have to do with whoever dies … and how they pass away!
Elsewhere, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will have words of wisdom for Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley), while Donnell faces off against Joey.
As the weekend hits, a McBride will have a shocking reunion with someone. What could this be about? Could Doug McBride (Jason Graham) be alive? Highly unlikely, but only time will tell.
Hayley Hamilton Is In Hot Water
Lastly, Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of May 18 note that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) will be placed in the hot seat as Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) will have questions about her past.
Interesting enough, Bill, Kat, and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) will compare notes as the week winds down. Will they talk about Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) or Hayley?
