CBS Releases Soapy New Promo Highlighting ‘Beyond The Gates’ In The Network’s Daytime Drama Lineup

CBS is just as excited as soap fans when it comes to the debut of Beyond the Gates (BTG), which is just over a week away. The network dropped a sizzling promo highlighting its new daytime drama line up, as BTG takes center stage in the new ‘soapy’ preview.

CBS Daytime Is About To Get Soapier

CBS’s promo starts off with BTG’s Fairmont Crest gates opening up, as Karla Mosley (BTG’s Dani Dupree) opens the video with a bang by saying, “I am done with being disrespected,” while Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger snaps her fingers and states, “Welcome to Fairmont Crest!”

The words, “CBS Daytime Is Soapier” flash across the screen with an emoji, hiding its eyes, as tantalizing clips from all three of the network’s daytime dramas – BTG, along with The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful – quickly unfold.

From CBS soap couples kissing and engaging in a little action between the sheets to fighting, action, adventure, some scary moments, and a slap-fest among certain BTG characters, the words, ‘Flirtier’, ‘Dirtier’, ‘Sexier’, ‘Riskier’, and then, ‘Soapier’ fly across the promo as it unfolds to an upbeat musical number in the background.

The promo wraps up with the Y&R’s Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) embracing as the wife tells her husband, “Oh, I like the sound of that”, and the dramatic close is BTG’s Dani Dupree throwing a glass of champagne or wine in the face of Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), much to his shock and dismay.

BTG debuts on Monday, February 24 at 2 p.m. ET on CBS, following the Y&R, airing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET, and B&B, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. ET.
