Shocking Twist! Leslie Secretly Took One of Nicole’s Twins on Beyond The Gates!

Beyond The Gates spoilers indicate that Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) were born three weeks apart.

It has been mentioned several times. In addition, Kat was on to Eva for the beginning, and that she was up to no good.

Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) pointed out that Kat may have known because she and Eva are sisters and so close in age. Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) commented that it was “almost like a twin thing.”

Is it possible that Kat and Eva are twins? And not only that, could Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) not actually be Eva’s mother? Did Leslie steal Eva from Nicole?

Leslie Thomas Was Pregnant With Ted Richardson’s Child

As a result of her affair with Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson/Keith D. Robinson), Leslie did get pregnant.

Leslie told Ted that she had a miscarriage, but this may have been after she was threatened by Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) to abort the baby. Bill said that he would take the baby and sell it on the black market if Leslie did not terminate her pregnancy.

Leslie Thomas Plans Her Revenge And Decides To Take The Baby

Leslie wanted revenge after she lost the child she was carrying, and vowed to make Ted pay. She learned that Nicole was also pregnant, and made plans to steal the child and raise it as her own. Leslie loves to disguise herself, and play different roles.

She recently pretended to be a nurse at Garland Memorial Hospital. This may not have been the first time. During Nicole’s pregnancy, Leslie was around waiting to make her move. She was posing as a nurse, and closely moderating Nicole and the progress of her pregnancy.

Leslie Thomas Blackmails Nicole Richardson’s Obstetrician

Leslie was most likely using a different name at the time, and got some dirt on Nicole’s obstetrician. Fearing the end of their career, the obstetrician agreed to do what Leslie said, even as unethical it was.

Leslie could have informed the doctor that when Nicole gives birth that he or she will tell Nicole that her baby was stillborn using this leverage.

However, when the doctor informed Leslie that Nicole was having fraternal twin girls later on, the plan changed. Leslie decided to take one baby from Nicole to raise as her own, and she instructed the doctor not to tell Nicole that she was actually pregnant with twins.

Leslie Thomas Steals A Baby From Nicole Richardson

Leslie was lurking around waiting for Nicole to give birth, and the doctor gave Nicole a sedative during the birth so she would not remember anything. Nicole gave birth to her twin girls, and he gave Leslie one of them to take with her. This is when Leslie moved to Chicago.

She had the doctor forge birth papers to say that the baby girl she stole (Eva) was born three weeks later in order not to arouse any suspicion. This is how Leslie ended up with Eva.

Leslie Thomas Has No Maternal Instincts For Eva Thomas

The way that Leslie has treated Eva is not the way a mother would treat their daughter. Leslie has been nothing but cold to Eva since she tried to stop Leslie’s plan against Ted and Nicole. Leslie also lied to her child, and told Eva that Ted never wanted her.

The fact is that Ted never knew that Eva existed, and Eva felt betrayed by this. If Leslie were actually Eva’s mother, her maternal instincts would kick in and she would love her daughter no matter what.

Leslie doesn’t feel this way because she is not a mother, and roped Eva into this plan no matter who got hurt, including Eva. A mother would never want to see her child hurt, but Leslie does not seem to mind. This would explain why, and Nicole is actually Eva’s true mother.
