At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) catches Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) daydreaming about his confrontation with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Steffy can’t understand why Thomas isn’t as thrilled as she is about their parents’ reunion. Steffy blasts Brooke’s behavior and her drinking doesn’t make her blameless. Steffy tells Thomas to let Ridge be happy with their mother.

Thomas hesitates to blame Brooke, but Steffy says there’s no excuse for what she’s done.

Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) is grateful for Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) support but surprised by her sense of urgency. Zende says he was ready to make things official on New Year’s, but he wasn’t on the same page as Paris. Paris is about the single life. He wonders what happened to change her mind.

Grace encourages Zende to grab the engagement ring and propose to Paris again. Zende must claim his future or watch it pass him by. Grace has talked to Paris and she’s certain that Paris will say yes to Zende. Paris loves him.

Carter’s time with Paris is marred by thoughts of Grace’s blackmail. Carter insists that they break up. Paris is frustrated that Carter isn’t in the moment and keeps looking for problems where they don’t exist. Paris would do anything and risk everything to be with Carter.

Carter admits he can’t get enough of her, but she deserves a man who can give her the best—a man like Zende. Paris deserves a Forrester. Carter asks Paris to think about what it would cost her to be with him. Carter tells Paris to accept Zende’s proposal.
