Steffy reels from the news that someone shot and killed her husband. She kicks herself for forgetting Finn. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) vow to always be there for Steffy.

Sheila fears her day of reckoning has arrived when Steffy looks at her and says she remembers. Steffy recalls that Sheila is Finn’s mother and offers condolences to her murderous mother-in-law. Sheila says she’s devastated that her grandson will grow up without any memories of Finn.

Sheila thanks Steffy for choosing kindness and not sending her away. Steffy will never know how sorry Sheila is.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is certain they made the right decision to tell Steffy the truth. It may have been cruel but they couldn’t allow her to keep believing she and Liam were still married. Brooke wishes she could be there for Ridge.

Liam says Steffy regained memories of her family. It was a horrible moment when Steffy realized the husband she was only starting to remember had died. Liam worries about Steffy and her children. He vows to step up. It’s his job to be there for his daughter.

Hope admires his strength, but he doesn’t have to do it all by himself and Steffy has an amazing support system outside of him. Hope tells him to breathe because the worst part is over.

Sheila eavesdrops as Bridget tells the family that it’s imminent Steffy will remember the shooting. Bridget advises the nurse to wait until Steffy wakes up to administer pain meds; they’ll stay vigilant about Steffy’s addiction. Ridge is worried, but Bridget promises Steffy’s in good hands.

Sheila slips into Steffy’s room again. Sheila realizes she’s running out of time and she can’t allow Steffy to send her back to prison. An overdose would solve all Sheila’s problems.
