Bold and The Beautiful Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Shares Great News!

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy Forrester on “Bold and the Beautiful,” gave birth to her first baby, Rise Harlen on March 4. The baby weighed 7 lbs and 13 oz and measured 21.5 inches.

Wood shared on Instagram why she and husband Elan Ruspoli gave their son the unique name. “We chose Rise because to us Rise means growth, the simplicity of moving forward. We look to our son as an uplifting force toward positive change and a better world,” she wrote.

Wood announced her pregnancy in October when her character Steffy walked on the runway for the Intimates Lingerie fashion show. “The rumors are truuuuee!! It’s not just a burrito in my belly it’s a burrito AND A BABY!!!! Ya gurrrlls PREGNANT!!” she wrote. She also thanked Brad Bell for allowing her to announce her pregnancy in a special way.

She revealed the gender of her son in November and celebrated an Italian-themed baby shower in December.

In her post announcing the birth of baby Rise, Wood also expressed her gratitude to everyone who followed her journey and shared their own pregnancy tips and delivery stories.

Wood is currently on maternity leave from “The Bold and the Beautiful” while the baby swap storyline continues. Hope Logan and Liam Forrester have met Flo and were told that she is the biological mother of Phoebe, which of course is not true. As Flo gets to know firsthand what Liam and Hope had to go through after they were told their baby is dead, Flo’s guilt is getting stronger. She has started to crack down under pressure and is close to reveal the truth to Hope and Liam.

Meanwhile, Steffy will decide to move to Paris with Kelly and Phoebe. Hope will be devastated to learn about Steffy’s decision. Taylor will try to convince Steffy to fight for herself and Liam so her girls will have the complete family deserve, instead of thinking about Liam and Hope. But Steffy has made up her mind, and while she’s away, Liam and Hope will have to fight to save their marriage.
