Bold and the Beautiful News: Jacob Young’s New Christmas Movie Gets Premiere Date

The Bold and the Beautiful alum Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) will be featured in a Christmas movie airing on Lifetime. Titled “The Road Home for Christmas” finally has a premiere date, which is coming up pretty quickly. Get all the details on the holiday film.
Bold And The Beautiful News – The Road Home for Christmas
The Lifetime Christmas movie is scheduled to premiere on October 26 at 8/7 Central. It is part of the network’s “Its a Wonderful Lifetime” series.
A synopsis of the upcoming film has been released. It teases that two competing musicians, Lindsay (Marla Sokoloff) and Wes (Rob Mayes) perform in a dueling piano show. On Christmas Eve, they do not have a gig to go to. So, they decide to go on a road trip together to theri hometowns, which aren’t too far from one another.
“During the drive, the mismatched pair find themselves surrounded by Santa conventioneers, saving a Christmas nativity play, performing onstage in Nashville with music royalty (Marie Osmond), and braving a massive snowstorm which just may lead them to making sweet music together.”
B&B Alum Jacob Young’s Other Projects
The Bold and the Beautiful alum is busy working on other projects, too. Last seen on B&B in 2018, he has appeared in Killer Vacation, Christmas Made to Order, When Vows Break, Psycho Granny, Angel and Jessie’s Girls.
Prior to appearing on the CBS soap opera, he was cast in The Young & the Restless, Imaginary Friend, All My Children, Days of Our Lives, One Life to Live and General Hospital.

Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful
There are rumors that Jacob Young could be reprising the role of Rick Forrester. It certainly would make things interesting if were to suddenly come back in the midst of the drama surrounding Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and the other characters.

Yes, I miss Jacob Young, and would love to see him come back to B&B. I would love to see him there to support his mom, Brooke, and also put Thomas in his place. Rick is a true Forrester, whereas Thomas is a Marone, wannabe Forrester.
