“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Katrina Bowden, also known as Flo Fulton on the sudser, has landed an exciting new role in a shark thriller movie. She take on the main role of Kaz Fellows. The film called “Great White” is written by Michael Boughen and directed by Martin Wilson. It is produced by Thrills and Spills and Piccadilly Pictures with Michael Robertson and Neal Kingston.

Bold & The Beautiful News – Great White, Based On True Events

Based on true events, the movie centers on seaplan operators and lovers, Kaz Fellows and Charlie Brody (Aaron Jakubenko). The pair take their passengers, Joji Minase (Tim Kano), his wife Michelle (Kimie Tsukakoshi) and cook Benny (Te Kohe Tuhaka), to Hell’s Reef. What was supposed to be a memorable and exciting trip turns into a living hell when they are left abandoned miles from shore. Not only that they have to face the danger that lurks in the water. In order to survive, they have to get to the beach. But how will they do that if there are being haunted by two Great White sharks?

B&B News – Katrina Bowden Shoots Film In Australia

Bowden has expressed her excitement to shoot the upcoming film.

She said, “I am so excited to be back in Australia to shoot this film. It has been nine years since my last visit and this time around I am really getting familiar with beautiful Queensland.”

“I feel very lucky to get the chance to work in Australia, especially on a film project I love so much that is unlike others I have done before. It is going to be a very fun adventure,” she added.

Bold & The Beautiful News – Kingston: The Fear is Real

Meanwhile, Kingston had something to say about the new film. He explained that “ever since watching Jaws as a kid I realised the effect a shark film can have on a movie audience.”

“The fear you feel in the cinema and again venturing into the water is real. Great White draws on that fear and together with great performances, delivers a real and relatable experience, hopefully to a whole new generation of cinema-goers,” he explained.

B&B News – Katrina Bowden’s Career

Bowden’s first acting role was as Britney on “One Life to Live.” She guest starred on “Law & Order: SVU,” “Ugly Betty,” and “30 Rock.” She appeared on “Sex Drive,” “The Shortcut,” and “Ratco: The Dictator’s Son.”

For those who didn’t know, Bowden was voted as the Esquire Magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive and appeared on the Jordache TV campaign, which premiered back in 2011.
