Bold And The Beautiful News: Matthew Atkinson Reveals The Truth About Thomas Forrester

There’s more to Thomas Forrester’s portrayer, Matthew Atkinson, than meets the eye. It was revealed that he was not a Boy Scout but an Eagle Scout, the highest rank within the organization. In order for him to get to that spot, he had to complete a big community service project.

Atkinson said, “I had a few options, but there was one gleaming option… and I think you’ll understand why.” He found out that the cheerleaders in high school he was attending that time didn’t have any storage units. So for his project, he decided to build them cubbies.

Atkinson is just one of the many actors who have portrayed the role of Thomas Forrester. Fans already know who Thomas is but many of them don’t that much about the actor behind the character. Atkinson was born in Georgia and has lived in Alabama and Mississippi before settling in Kennesaw, Georgia.

His first TV gig was on “One Tree Hill.” Since his debut on screen, Atkinson landed roles on other popular series like “CSI,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “The Middle,” and “Young & Hungry.” He is also an avid baseball player and his skills in the sport has helped him portray Nick Fadden on the ABC Family series “Jane By Design.” “The Bold and the Beautiful” is not Atkinson’s first foray into the daytime dramas. He also appeared on other TV series like “The Young and the Restless” where he portrayed the role Austin Travers between April 2014 and August 2015.

Back in “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Atkinson’s alter ego Thomas Forrester is about to get what he wants the most – Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). He managed to manipulate her into marrying him by using his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). He tricked Hope into agreeing on a rush wedding for the sake of the kid. However, Thomas will have to get through some hurdles before he ties the knot with Hope.

Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will be shocked to learn about Thomas and Hope’s plan to marry while feeling guilty about Hope’s annulment with Liam. She will do whatever she can to stop the wedding. Who knows, Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) might even tell her about his suspicions that Thomas killed Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) and the two might join forces to bring Thomas down.
