Bold and the Beautiful Recap Friday November 1: Thomas Offers To Give Douglas To Hope, In Exchange For A Night Together

The Friday, November 1, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful opens as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) grow closer while they play with Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez).

Liam grumps about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) spending Halloween with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) instead of him. Liam tells Steffy that spending time with her and the girls was just what he needed.

Steffy marvels at how crazy Hope and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are to think Thomas will just sign over his rights to Douglas. Liam reminds Steffy that her brother is manipulative, volatile, and unpredictable. Steffy is all too familiar with Thomas’ misdeeds, but it’s not fair to cut him off completely from Douglas. It’s weird that Douglas calls Hope “Mommy”. Steffy believes Hope is obsessed with becoming Douglas’ mom.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Doesn’t Want To Adopt The Boy

Liam confesses that he doesn’t want to adopt Douglas. He was blindsided by the adoption papers. Shauna urges Hope to make peace with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) in the same way she’s making peace with Thomas.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is concerned that his son still harbors fantasies of Hope being a mother to Douglas. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) says that Thomas is doing the best he can for his son and that she understands why Ridge supports him. Back at the guest house, Ridge declines Shauna’s offer of a nightcap but accepts her offer of a kiss on the cheek. After he leaves, Shauna fantasizes about making love to him.

Brooke clues Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) into Hope’s plan to use Thomas’ feelings to gain custody of Douglas. The Logans fear what Thomas will do if he discovers that Hope is exploiting his feelings to reel him in. Brooke believes Thomas has a chemical imbalance and needs professional help.

Just talking to his psychiatrist mother isn’t enough—she needs professional help herself. Brooke hates the wedge that Thomas has driven between her and Ridge. Hope’s plan has to work so that they can keep Douglas safe from Thomas and Brooke can get back together with her husband.

Thomas regrets screwing up his relationship with Hope. After they tuck in Douglas, Thomas takes Hope back to his bedroom. Thomas hesitates when Hope circles back to her idea that she adopt Douglas while Thomas keeps his parental rights. Thomas doesn’t want to lose Douglas or her, but he asks how she really feels about him. Is there a future for Thomas and Hope?
