Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers: Brooke Demands Ridge Marry Her Again, Sparks Fly For Wyatt And Hope

On the Thursday, July 16, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, Summer Escapes Week continues with a rebroadcast from 2014. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) plans a romantic beach camping trip for Hope Logan (Kimberly Matula). As they smooch on the sand, he tells her the adventure is only just beginning. They watch dolphins off the coast and eat s’mores by the campfire. She tells Wyatt that everything she needs is right in front of her. Wyatt finds peace and solitude in Hope’s eyes. He closes the opening to the tent and they make love.

At lunch, Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) pries into Quinn Forrester’s past (Rena Sofer). Quinn admits that, she was so young when she had Wyatt, no one showed her how to be a good parent. It hasn’t been easy for Wyatt to have her as a mother. Quinn walks a fine line between being supportive and smothering. Pam says Quinn went overboard in trying to reunite Wyatt with Hope.

Quinn broaches friendship with Pam and they toast to having each other’s backs. She takes her new BFF shopping and for a manicure on Rodeo but has an ulterior motive.

When they return to Forrester Creations, an angry Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) demands to know where Pam has been and why she’s hanging around with Quinn. He is shocked that Pam is friends with Quinn. Charlie warns Pam that Quinn and Wyatt are trouble. Quinn has a confession to make about her son.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) grills Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) about the camping trip. She can’t understand why Rick told Wyatt it was okay to go away with Hope. Rick says his sister wanted to try something new. Brooke is concerned that Hope is moving too fast after ending things with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in Hawaii. Rick believes Wyatt is very protective and won’t play around with Hope’s feelings.

Brooke tells Rick that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) still loves her and returned from Paris for her. Brooke kept her engagement ring from Italy. Brooke can’t wait any longer to get her man back.

Ridge drops by Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) house to return her phone. She’s taking a mental health day to read. He wants to inspire her. She thanks him for helping her see she has a lot to be grateful for. She wonders about the status of his relationship with Brooke. She says Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is trying to get her to understand that he was acting out of love and that there’s nothing a parent won’t do for his child.

Brooke calls Ridge and interrupts his chat with Katie. He promises to stop by the house later. Katie encourages Ridge to go to Brooke. Ridge hesitates—he doesn’t have answers for Brooke. Katie appreciates Ridge’s kindness.

Brooke barges into Katie’s house. Brooke tells Ridge it’s time to break down the wall between them and move forward together. Brooke proposes to him with her engagement ring.
