Friday, June 5, 2020, brings a dramatic conclusion to Classic Clashes Week. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) come to blows over the Phoebe/Beth baby secret on a 2019 rebroadcast of The Bold & the Beautiful.

As Thomas pounds on the door of Forrester Creations, Liam tells Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) the truth about their daughter. Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davison) never died. Hope reels from the news that her daughter is alive. Liam warns Hope not to listen to Thomas—he knew the truth about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) daughter, Phoebe, really being Beth and kept it from Hope. Hope is stunned that Thomas took advantage of her broken heart.

Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) worries about his daughter. Steffy is also concerned that there may be some truth to Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) claim that her Phoebe is Beth. Steffy hopes that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will put the lie to rest and straighten Liam out.

Ridge can’t understand why level-headed Liam is buying into Douglas’ fantasy. Steffy says Liam has been suffering in silence since Beth’s “death.” Steffy tells the baby that she’s her mommy and they belong together. Her stomach is in knots. Ridge comforts Steffy and says Liam isn’t being logical. Liam has to face the fact that he lost his daughter. Steffy is the only mother Phoebe will ever know.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is disappointed in Flo. The Flo he knows wouldn’t be a part of a kidnapping, then lie about it for months to Hope, Steffy, Liam, and Wyatt. She let Beth’s parents believe their baby was dead. Wyatt wonders how she could do such a thing to her family. If she loved him, she should have told him the truth.

Flo apologizes—she didn’t know what she was getting herself into when she helped Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and her father. Zoe, Thomas, and Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) prevented her from telling the truth. Thomas threatened to destroy her. She would have lost everything, including Wyatt, and gone to prison if she’d blabbed. She felt like there was no way out.

Wyatt laments that he saw a future with her—a family of their own. Flo claims she’s still the same person he fell in love with and they can have that future. Flo hopes to find a way to prove he can trust her again. She admits that she brought this all on herself. She’s relieved that Hope can finally be a mother to her child.

Back at Forrester, Thomas pushes Liam. Hope demands the truth from Thomas. Liam says Thomas is using her grief to manipulate her. Thomas punches out Liam and drags Hope to the roof, intent on taking her away on a helicopter. He claims that Liam is lying. Hope wonders who Thomas really is. She tells him that, if he really loves her, he’ll tell the truth.

Liam makes his way to the roof and punches Thomas. They brawl violently as Hope begs them to stop. Thomas runs to the helipad, but there’s no helicopter. Liam finds him and puts him in a chokehold, demanding that Thomas tell Hope the truth. Thomas doesn’t deny it and runs away.

Liam and Hope revel in the news that Beth is alive. They’re going to have their family back. Hope cries tears of joy in today’s final Bold and the Beautiful scene.
