The Thursday, November 14, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, opens with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) immersed in fashion at Forrester Creations. He’s fitting a model when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pays a visit. She’s surprised that the stunning gold evening gown is one of Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) designs. They wonder why they haven’t heard from Thomas.

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is in shock, pacing the Forrester home, unable to shake the constant reminders of her fatal evening with Thomas. She can’t make sense of how everything went wrong. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tries to comfort her, but Hope doesn’t want to talk anymore. She’s already made her mother an accessory. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was counting on her, but now he’ll never see his father again because of Hope. He’ll never forgive her.

The Logans keep mum about Thomas’ accident when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) arrives. He wants to know what’s wrong with Hope. He says that sharing custody of Douglas is a game-changer—it means that Thomas will be a constant presence in their lives, constantly stalking and professing his love to her, especially now that Liam will no longer be at Forrester to protect her. She’ll never be rid of him.

Guilt eats away at Hope like the hydrofluoric acid. She tells Brooke that she can’t lie to Liam and everyone else anymore. Thomas isn’t going to be a problem because he’s dead and she’s responsible. Brooke pleads with her daughter not to blame herself—it was an accident and she’s a good, decent person who was only defending herself. Thomas, however, was a sick man who dangled Douglas over her head in exchange for sex.

Jake Maclaine (Todd McKee) and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) burst into Ridge’s office. Ridge and Steffy need to come to the storage room right away. When they arrive, the workers are wrapping up the job, cleaning the tanks. Ridge orders Charlie and Jake to keep all employees away from that room and get the dangerous chemicals out of the building before anyone gets hurt.
