Bold and the Beautiful Recap Tuesday November 19: Thomas Visits Hope, Brooke Warns Daughter To Keep Quiet

The Tuesday, November 19, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, opens with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) trying to make sense of what happened to his son. He’s upset by Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) revelation that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) chased her through Forrester Creations and kept her from Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) interrupts her daughter’s confession when she starts to tell Ridge one crucial detail: she pushed Thomas and he fell into the vat of hydrofluoric acid.

When Ridge leaves, Hope regrets not telling him the truth. Brooke urges a frazzled Hope to keep the secret. The acid has removed all traces of Thomas and the vat and acid were disposed of, so all the evidence is gone and they don’t have to say a thing.

Thomas brought his death on himself by leaving Douglas alone in an empty building so that he could chase Hope around and have sex with her. Brooke fears that, if Hope confesses, she’ll be dragged off to jail and lose her baby and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Hope reminds her mother how destructive secrets can be. It will be awful, but she has to tell the truth.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) grows more concerned about her brother when Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) says that Thomas and Douglas didn’t come home to the Forresters last night. Steffy says that Thomas made a terrible decision in making Hope the boy’s legal mother. Quinn can’t understand why Thomas would give up any rights since his relationship with his son was improving.

Ridge returns to Forrester Creations, blaming himself for his son’s actions. Thomas has gone off the rails because Ridge wasn’t there for him during childhood. He tells Steffy about Thomas’ offer to trade custody of Douglas for sex.

Steffy is horrified that Thomas left Douglas alone while he tried to put the moves on Hope and chased her all over the building. Ridge worries that Hope will be the death of his son. Thomas won’t ever get past Hope if he’s given her custody and tied himself to her forever. Steffy thinks Thomas is hiding in shame. Ridge believes his son will find his way home.

Alone in her room, Hope cries over a photo of Thomas and Douglas, begging Thomas to forgive her. She could never love him, but didn’t want to hurt him.
