Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Tuesday January 28: Steffy Snaps At Thomas, Brooke Wants Hope To Fight For Liam

On the Tuesday, January 28, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) plans to come clean to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about the staged kiss. Steffy is guilty for helping Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) derail Liam’s relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Thomas interrupts Steffy’s confession. He tells Liam that he’s been encouraging Steffy to make a play for Liam for months. Liam accuses Thomas of creating chaos in everyone’s life. When Liam leaves, Thomas blasts Steffy for trying to tell Liam the truth and ruin everything. Thomas encourages Steffy to fight for her family.

Steffy says that nothing good comes from scheming to get what you want. She accuses Thomas of manipulating her relationship with Liam in order to get Hope back. She fears that Thomas dating Zoe is a ploy.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) tells Hope that he prays he won’t lose her like he lost his biological mother, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey). Hope realizes that she could never have given up Douglas in order to marry Liam.

Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) warns her best friend to be smart and not overreact to Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) threats. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) is furious that Brooke is trying to stir up trouble between Quinn and Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Eric asks Quinn to kick Shauna out of the guest house. It’s inappropriate for Shauna to stay and cause more tension between Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke. Eric pleads for peace in the family and asks Quinn to go easy on Brooke. Quinn tells Eric that Brooke needs to get her home in order and stop making demands on theirs. Eric says that the way Brooke’s acting reminds him of the dark time when she was drinking. When Eric goes to work, Quinn eyes the alcohol and schemes. Quinn vows to put an end to Brooke.

Brooke tries to blame Hope’s breakup with Liam on Thomas, but Hope says that Liam is to blame for kissing Steffy. Brooke wonders if Thomas played a part in engineering the kiss. Brooke cautions her daughter not to let Thomas push Liam further away from her. Brooke tells Hope that Shauna kissed Ridge and that Thomas and Quinn are to blame for making her marriage vulnerable. Brooke claims that Quinn hasn’t changed but is as dangerous as ever. Brooke urges her daughter to stand up with her and fight to get the manipulators out of their lives.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) approves his son’s budget, but Liam can’t keep his mind on business. Bill orders his son to stop feeling guilty about the kiss and return his focus to work and to rebuilding his life. Bill urges Liam to admit that Steffy is the woman for him—she doesn’t add to his drama but makes Liam a better man. Hope is never happy unless she puts herself into some unnecessary crisis—this time, choosing to raise degenerate Thomas’ son. Bill wonders if Hope is secretly attracted to Thomas.
