This week the baby switch story finally concludes when Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) learns her daughter Beth is alive.

While Hope is going to be overjoyed reuniting with her daughter, her happiness will soon turn to anger when she learns her husband Thomas knew the truth.

Thomas has done a lot of terrible stuff in his quest to get Hope. He knew that the truth about Beth would bring Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) back together. That’s why he wanted to keep it a secret and threatened everyone that knew.

He knows that he’s lost Hope and he’ll face possible legal trouble for his role in Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death.

Instead of manning up and face the consequences, Thomas will go on the run.

Fans have wondered what will happen to Thomas once the baby switch is exposed. The writers have come under criticism for portraying Thomas as a psychopath. Many feel that Thomas can’t be redeemed and that the character’s time in Los Angeles is coming to an end.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – How Long Will Thomas Be Gone?

Now that his plan has been exposed and he’s lost everything, Thomas will leave town.  But how long will Thomas be gone?  There’s more to Thomas’ story that needs to be explored. While Thomas may go on the run, odds are he won’t be gone long.

Thomas won’t give up Hope without a fight. He’ll eventually come back and beg her for another chance. He’ll believe that with enough time, she’ll find it in her heart to forgive him.

Hope won’t be so forgiving of Thomas and Liam will want revenge for Thomas keeping Beth away from him and Hope.

With everyone coming after him, it may be in Thomas’ best interest to go on the run and stay hidden for a while.

It will also give the writers a chance to come up with a plan for redeeming Thomas if the character is going to be sticking around.
