The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) continues to feel the need to protect Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) from his father’s irrational behavior. Most recently, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) popped the question to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), at least six months to a year prematurely, while Douglas and a gathered throng were present.

Zoe’s acceptance of Thomas’ marriage offer served to validate the ongoing erratic behavior that Hope has experienced since last year. As B&B viewers recall, Thomas’ return from New York was prompted by the untimely death of Douglas’ mother.

Douglas doesn’t understand why Hope won’t remarry his dad. He knows that Thomas loves her because he recently heard him admit it.

However, when talking with Hope about the matter she told him that they tried marriage and it didn’t work. She also noted that remarriage wasn’t going to happen and that Zoe would be his father’s next wife.

So, Thomas is not only using Zoe as a contrast weapon. He’s also employing Douglas’ emotions in an effort to keep pressure on Hope to change her mind, or at least to remain open to doing so.

B&B Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Brings Risk

B&B fans know that Zoe wasn’t thinking straight when she initially arrived in Los Angeles, California. At that time she was pursuing Xander Avant (Adain Bradley), who ended their relationship when they were living in England, where her father, the eventually infamous Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), was practicing medicine and gambling.

Zoe’s possession of a deceased cat, her fixation on Xander, and the accompanying eerie musical backdrops that were offered positioned Barnes’ character as a short-time villain. But the actor’s stellar work allowed B&B’s plans to be developed, with Zoe evolving.

Daytime devotees know that the dangerous side of Zoe’s personality could easily be elicited if Thomas treats her harshly in the future. Actually, Zoe could prove to be a realized threat, like Douglas was during the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) reveal.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Intrigued By Adversary

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) suggested that Hope is actually attracted to Thomas because he’s weird. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) discounted the analysis out of hand, but should he have done so?

Hope could seek full custody of Douglas right now. She’s already in a position to do so as his legal mother. But it seems as though she wants to remain connected to Thomas.

The pending Thoe marriage complicates Hope’s life even further. Whether she reverses course and develops feelings for Thomas remains to be seen. Although it’s possible that the precarious position she’s put herself in is actually intentional, with more than Douglas’ interests in mind.
