Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) have been equally victimized on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) current shock and comparative pain level are subjectively similar to ‘Lope’s’. The maternal instincts Steffy possesses are driving her to know, not just believe, that Beth could become disoriented when shifting her home from the cliff house to the cabin. Wood’s momentarily forlorn character is purely thinking in Beth’s best interests.

But Steffy is resilient. So she will eventual bounce back and support this needed transitional time in the lives of all affected.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Not Hearing Steffy’s Plea

Hope and Liam had their baby stolen from them by Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady). They’ve just learned what really happened on Catalina Island and all that’s transpired since. So each parent’s reactions must be viewed with a considered perspective.

However, their emotions aren’t the only ones that matter. Liam is taking his normal paralyzed stance, where his excessively cautious and idealistic view of life leaves him ill prepared to deal with this type of crisis.

As Steffy said when pressing him to take a stance about where Beth should live, “Say something for once!”. Liam wasn’t able to do so, as he’s used to various other people telling him how to make important decisions.

Hope is a strong, but also stubborn person. Beyond her own maternal instincts, she’s reacting defensively to Steffy’s common sense concerns about Beth suddenly exiting a familiar environment and routine.

Putting The Children First

Hope found comfort in believing that she was helping to put the children first. Telling Liam to live with Steffy and the girls, which was when Beth was still considered to be Phoebe, was a selfless act. Then, Hope felt so strongly about mothering Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) that she married his father, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

As was said about Steffy, in time Hope will come around. She’s reacting in this tense, unbelievable, yet true moment. She will address Beth’s needs, which includes some type of compromise that keeps Steffy involved on a regular basis. Yet, there’s no doubt that the first days without the former Phoebe will be excruciating for the mother Beth has known to-date.
