Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) wronged ‘Lope’ on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Then, he flew off to London, England, leaving Flo Fulton Logan (Katrina Bowden) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to deal with his mess on their own. But B&B is shifting this storyline, allowing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to drive the narrative for now.

For a few hours, Thomas acted like a real human being. After forcing the baby secret out of Flo, he responded as any person would. Thomas was shocked, became angry, and vowed to end the secret.

Atkinson’s calculating character told Flo that his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) needed to know the truth. He bolted from the Forrester mansion, that sits in a gorgeous section of Beverly Hills, California, and went straight to the stunning cliff house.

Thomas drove there with good intentions. He was compelled to tell Steffy the truth about Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) being Hope Spencer in disguise. But then Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) came out approximately one minute after his arrival.

After a sharp episode-ender, and some well placed commercials in the next show, Steffy, Liam, Phoebe-Beth, and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman) sat together. The image of a reviving ‘Steam’, joyously being with their girls, which is what Hope and Thomas have been hoping for, was impactful.

So, Thomas offers Steffy an alternate explanation for the dramatic statement he led with after his unexpected entrance. And on that dime this storyline’s power shifts.

Flo, Zoe, and Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) are waiting back at the Forrester estate. As Zoe was desperately hoping for, Thomas reveals that he didn’t tell Steffy what he knows. However, a condescending exchange follows, which leaves the trio wondering if they are better off.

To this point, Flo and Zoe at least held final decision-making power. They’ve chosen to remain silent for months, which has been excruciating. But now their fates are connected to Thomas, who couldn’t care less about their lives.

Silence isn’t Flo and Zoe’s choice, it’s their directive. Xander doesn’t like it and still believes that the truth must come out. Coming confrontation and a different form of in-fighting will now be the rage.
