When it comes to using Douglas, he claims it is a sacrifice that will end up giving the little boy a real family. However, that reason doesn’t really make sense since Hope adopted him. They co-parent Douglas together and as long as the child feels safe and loved, then that is all that matters.

It seems that Thomas’ reason might have more to do with his childhood than Douglas himself.

When she faces losing her job, could Katie Logan (Heather Tom) step in and expose Sally’s secret to more people? The young woman won’t be happy, that’s for sure. However, despite doing the wrong thing and betraying Sally, her heart is in the right place.
