Brad Bell Removed From Head Writing
A fan of Bold and the Beautiful realized that Brad Bell was removed from head writing. The user took to the Soap Central forums to make this announcement.
Bell has been a huge part of the daytime soap and he’s overseen many of the storylines. This news might come as a shock to some who are used to his writing.
“Noticed the credits this week excluding Brad Bell as the top writer, only two others credited this week that’s interesting since Brad’s been the head writer for over 25 years now for better or worse,” the user wrote.
Other B&B fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Some speculated that it could have something to do with the writers’ strike. Bell might’ve removed his name and position in support of the writers. However, they might’ve hired a team of writers to work on the current storylines.
Bold and the Beautiful fans are seeing the changes and are loving it. Some of them think it’s a refreshing change from previous years.
“Whoever they have writing… they need to need to keep them. It’s definitely more balanced lately,” one user noted.
“From your lips to God’s ears. I THOUGHT that the writing seemed more balanced these days, but figured that the show would throw the Tay Tots under the bus again for the gruesome twosome that is Hope and Liam,” another wrote.
Some are hoping that this is a permanent move. Hopefully, the writers will stay after the strike. Bell is a member of the writers’ union, which is why he stepped down during the strike. If the strike is ongoing and the actors support them, the show will have to air reruns.

I don’t like what they are doing with hope and Liam putting hope with Thomas and I don’t like them messing with Finn and steffy marriage either put Thomas with someone else not hope

I think its great bell stepping down. He is so stuck in the same old circles and hes love for the logan women show it. He needs to step completely out of the picture. As far as seeing new writing in the show i havent seen it yet. Hope it gets better
I used to love B&B. But as of yesterday I will no longer watch this repeat of Hope and Thomas and Liam and Steffy! It has been this way for years and like the Writers have nothing else to write about!
Until this is changed I am done!
I’m hoping the writing will be more balanced now. There has been real favouritism shown towards the Logans and the Forresters keep getting thrown under the bus. Most fans are very upset about the biased writing.
