The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Wednesday, August 18, 2021, opens at the loft where Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) drops a bomb on her lover. Quinn’s husband no longer wants a divorce and tore up the papers. Eric Forrester (John McCook) wants Quinn back. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) asks what Quinn wants.

Quinn is conflicted. Eric giving her another chance is a testament to the kind of man he is, but Carter was there for her when she was alone. They gave themselves to each other, body and soul. Quinn doesn’t think she can leave Carter. Carter says that, deep down, Quinn knows what needs to be done.

Eric savors a martini while he reminisces about his last conversation with Quinn. Carter gets a call from Eric asking him to bring Quinn’s portrait to the house. Eric excitedly tells him that he isn’t getting a divorce and he wants his wife back. Carter tells Quinn to go be Mrs. Eric Forrester. Carter says that Eric tearing up the papers was an incredible act of grace. Carter wants a wonderful, fulfilling life for Quinn. He won’t destroy Eric and Quinn’s future.

Quinn says Carter makes her happy. She’ll cherish their time together and will miss him. She’s leaving a part of herself behind. Quinn sobs as she realizes she still loves her husband, but loves Carter too. Carter admits that he loves Quinn.

B&B Spoilers:  Ridge is Happy for Steffy

At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) puts the finishing touches on a gown, with an assist from his daughter. The model tells Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that her wedding gown was amazing and congratulates her on marrying the hot doc. Steffy says her father made her feel like a princess. Ridge wants Steffy to smile and enjoy this time in her life. Steffy wishes she didn’t have Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) dark cloud of doom hanging over them. Ridge says they all need extra security. Gates don’t stop Sheila. They can’t relax with her around.

Steffy believes Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) understands he has to break all ties. Ridge wonders if Finn fully grasps what Sheila is capable of. Ridge knows Sheila won’t walk away from Finn.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers:  Sheila Haunts Finn

When someone knocks on the door of the cliff house, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Finn fear it’s Sheila. Paris thinks it’s weird that Sheila got ahold of Finn’s number. The visitor, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), notes how freaked out they look. Zende understands Finn wondering about his birth parents and wanting a relationship. Finn and Zende agree they lucked out when it came to their adoptive parents. Paris says the adoptive parents are what counts, not the biological parents.

Paris asks Zende if they can reschedule their date, so she can be there for Finn. Zende says he came by just to give Paris a kiss, which he delivers before leaving. Finn encourages Paris to go with Zende, but has a favor to ask of Paris: Paris can’t tell Steffy that Sheila reached out to him. He hopes that Sheila will read between the lines and understand that his heart emoji means he can’t see her.
