The Bold & the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Wednesday, September 22, 2021 opens at Forrester Creations where Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) embrace behind a locked door. Her Eric-approved open marriage feels oh-so-wrong, but oh-so-right. Quinn and Carter lock lips. Quinn warns him that they need to be careful at the office. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) can never find out. It would blow their minds to discover that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is the one pushing Quinn at Carter.

Carter tells Quinn about his awkward conversation with Eric. Quinn says Carter fulfills her in ways no man ever has. Quinn confesses that she told Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) about their situation, but she won’t tell another soul. Quinn is in love with two incredible and very different men. It seems too good to be true.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Katie Logan Thinks About Eric

In another office, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke abandon work to brainstorm about why Eric changed his mind and took Quinn back after her affair with Carter. Katie says it broke her heart to hear a vibrant, confident man doubt himself and feel like he’s not good enough for Quinn. Quinn isn’t worthy of Eric. Katie decides to check on Eric again.

Brooke tells her husband that Katie noticed a change in Eric and is determined to do something about it. Brooke complains to Ridge that Quinn was out late and left Eric alone at home. Ridge worries that Eric isn’t showing up to work and is holed up at home. Eric seems lost and troubled. Brooke hopes Katie can get Eric to open up. Ridge wants his father to have a love like he has with Brooke.

Brooke fears Eric is chained to Quinn. They decide to treat the reunion with Eric like a maneuver of Quinn’s.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Pushes Justin Barber

Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) former right-hand man arrives to do Ridge’s bidding. Ridge wants Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) to keep up his end of their agreement. Ridge needs loyalty and discretion from the guy who did all Bill’s dirty work. Justin kept Bill’s secrets so now Ridge wants him to uncover secrets. Eric is vulnerable to Quinn. Ridge asks Justin to follow Quinn and make sure she’s the loving wife his father deserves. Quinn will never see Justin coming. Quinn has made a fool of her father for long enough.

Eric sits alone on his couch, trying to work, but finding himself gazing at Quinn’s portrait. Katie surprises him. Katie wants to know where Quinn is. Eric says Quinn is at work. Katie didn’t see her there. Eric defends his wife: they don’t have to do everything together. Katie says her home is an oasis and wonders if Eric feels that way. Katie presses Eric on what’s really wrong inside his marriage.

Eric says his commitment to Quinn is unconventional, but they have an arrangement that seems to be working. Katie is perplexed by Eric’s arrangement with Quinn. Eric says Quinn has a lot of additional chapters to write while he is contemplating wrapping his up. Katie says Eric’s negativity is ridiculous and not who he is. No one appreciates beauty and the wonder of life like he does. Eric stands by the life he’s chosen for himself. Katie questions whether that life and Quinn make him happy.
