The announcement said, “We are thrilled to welcome @Jacob_W_Young to the Season Two cast of Beacon Hill. Jacob will take on the role of ambitious political operative JD Cooper. JD’s smile may charm but the look in his eyes warn you that he’s out to win. No matter the game…”
Aside from being part of the cast of “Beacon Hill,” Young is also filming a new movie titled, “Jessie Girl.” He will play Marshall Glenn in the upcoming film that is directed by Cole S. McKay and written by Lawrence Dixon.
Young played Rick Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful” from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2011 to 2018. He is also known for his role as JR Chandler on “All My Children” from 2003 to 2011 and on Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital.” He also starred in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” on Broadway as Lumiere in 2006.
With his skills and talent in acting, it’s not surprising for Young to receive a lot of accolades. In 1999, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Rick Forrester in “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
In 2002, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for portraying Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital.” In 2005, he once again received a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for the Outstanding Young Actor in a Drama Series category for her performance as JR Chandler on “All My Children.” In 2015 and 2016, he received two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations for the Outstanding Supporting Actor.
Aside from acting, Young launched a self-titled CD album under Artemis Records in 2011. He also appeared in other TV shows like “Hope & Faith,” and “The Young and the Restless.” His movie credits include “The Beach Boys: An American Family,” “The Girl Next Door,” and “Imaginary Friend.” In 2001, People magazine dubbed him as “Sexiest Soap Star.”

Yes as His sister Hope needs him to put an end to Ridge and his son from hurting Hope anymore. Come on Bell she really needs him. Bring him back!!
PLEASE ….this hope and Thomas storyline makes me sick. Its sick that Ridge would encourage her to have a relationship with his son and her step brother. Thomas just creeps me out . Hope looks like a total wonky eyed idiot .
Time to end this Beth intrigue. It’s getting old and very boring. Time to reveal the truth.
What’s it matter? He is not coming back. Why do writers even ask what veiwers want. They do not really care what we want. That’s obvious
