‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Friday, January 23: Dylan Grounded, Deacon’s Date Request, Steffy Spies

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is finally in for Friday, January 23, 2026. In today’s episode, Dylan (Sydney Bullock) gets grounded. Meanwhile, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) asks Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) on a date.

At Il Giardino, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) talks to Deacon. How does he put up with Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown)? Finn then asks about Taylor. Deacon is actually on the way to an appointment with her.

Sheila shows up and Finn declares he needs to leave. Sheila wants him to have some iced tea. Finn crosses his arms defiantly as Sheila says her marriage is stronger than ever. Sheila credits Taylor.

They are taking Deacon’s sessions to the extreme. Finn agrees that Taylor has made a difference in Deacon’s life. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

Steffy Spies

At the cliff house, Taylor tells Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) that nothing is going on with Deacon. Hope suggests there could be!

Steffy shows up and starts spying. Deacon arrives a few moments later. The psychologist and patient talk about what their kids know.

Taylor says Hope thinks they could have a future. Deacon doesn’t blame Hope for wanting him away from Sheila.

Steffy doesn’t support them together and has already started issuing demands. Deacon thinks it comes from a place of love. Steffy worries about her, and so does he.

Deacon’s Date Request

Taylor says there is nothing for Steffy to find out. Deacon asks what if they had a hot date? Deacon puts Taylor’s face in his hands.

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) arrives at the beachhouse. She brought veggies. Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) tells his mother about Dylan. Katie is so proud of her son and of Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), too.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy lectures Hope. The blonde doesn’t think it would be a bad thing. Steffy is shocked! There is a “weird attraction” between their parents, and it has to stop! Steffy needs to protect her mom from Sheila!

Hope reasons that Deacon won’t let anything happen to Taylor. They can help each other heal and be happy. Steffy declares that Deacon needs to find someone else, not her mom. Deacon made his bed and now he can sleep in it… with Sheila!

Dylan Grounded

In the design office, Electra tells Dylan that she can’t have dinner with Will again. Electra also doesn’t want Dylan doing her laundry. Dylan didn’t mean to upset her and has been applying everywhere. Dylan was hoping to hear back from FC. Electra insists she’s not getting a job at FC. Dylan promises she won’t get in their way.

Electra says she is going on a business trip with Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) soon. Dylan needs to stay in her apartment while she’s gone. Electra doesn’t want to be betrayed again. Dylan swears she will respect Electra’s relationship.
