The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Friday July 9: Thomas And Hope Race To Save Liam

The Bold & the Beautiful recap for Friday July 9 reveals Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) stuns Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) with the news that Vinny stepped in front of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) car on purpose. Vinny used an app to track Liam and killed himself in order to frame Liam for his death.

Thomas didn’t realize how much pain his troubled friend was in. Vinny was willing to die in order to set up Liam and help Thomas get Hope back. Hope has to break Thomas out of his cage so they can set Liam free from his. She searches desperately for the key. Thomas orders Hope to leave him, go to Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin), and tell him what she knows. Hope can’t risk leaving Thomas. Thomas says that, if Justin catches Hope, Liam will never be free.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Struggles In Jail

At the jail, Liam tries to focus on the good times with his wife but is tormented by memories of hitting Vinny. Deputy Chief Baker has bad news for Liam: he’s being transferred from his cushy cell to a maximum security facility. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be staying put since he’s facing lesser charges. Liam pleads that he didn’t hit Vinny on purpose. Liam asks Baker to investigate why Vinny was in the street that night. Baker agrees it wasn’t a coincidence—it was murder.

Next on today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) demands an answer from Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) at Spencer Publications. Justin plays dumb about what happened to Thomas. Ridge refuses to leave until he finds out where Thomas is. Ridge says young people can’t live without their phones and don’t leave them behind. Justin speculates that Thomas was preoccupied about his trip. Thomas will resurface when he’s ready. Justin sweats it out when Ridge wants him to consider how he would feel if his son, Marcus, disappeared. Ridge asks Justin, man-to-man and as a father, to help him find his son.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Threatens Justin

When Justin doesn’t offer help, Ridge threatens to go to the police to find Thomas. Ridge will make Justin suffer if something happens to Thomas. Justin leaves to take care of something that’s long overdue.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) settle into parenthood at the cliff house. Steffy says her mother is asking for an hourly photo update of her grandson. Steffy wonders why Thomas hasn’t reached out to see his nephew. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) come bearing gifts for the new bundle of joy. Wyatt says the baby is a nice distraction from what’s going on with his father.

Wyatt tells Steffy that Thomas hasn’t responded because Justin has Thomas’ phone. Wyatt says things got tense between Justin and Ridge at Spencer because Ridge is on the hunt for his son. Wyatt doesn’t want Steffy to be concerned since her dad is handling things. Thomas will show up soon.

Steffy tries to stay positive, but she becomes more concerned about her brother and Liam. She wonders how Liam will convince a jury that he didn’t mean to kill Vinny. Liam needs to come home and be with his daughters.

Justin rushes back to Thomas’ cell and finds it empty with a crowbar on the floor.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer’s Transfer  begins.

Thomas and Hope rush to bring Baker evidence he needs to hear right away. Baker says Liam is already being transferred. Hope begs Baker to stop the transfer. Thomas says Vinny texted him with proof that he set up Liam.
