The Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Friday May 8, 2020: Liam And Hope Logan Wedding, Steffy Forrester Melts Down

The Bold & the Beautiful spoilers conclude the CBS soap’s bridal march through Epic Wedding Week on Friday, May 8, 2020. Kites fly overhead as Hope Logan (Kim Matula) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wed in 2012 on a beach in Puglia, Italy.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) discuss the ceremony from their couch in Los Angeles. Eric says that the wedding was delayed and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decided not to participate. Eric believes that Steffy is strong and will get through it. Stephanie worries about her granddaughter. Stephanie teases Eric about creating Hope’s gown, calling him a sucker for any Logan who wants to traipse down an aisle.

Steffy cries alone in an Italian café as she remembers the day Liam slipped a ring on her finger. Steffy leaves when she sees a couple in love. Her day from hell gets worse as she breaks her flip-flop and gets pooped on by passing pigeons.

Stephanie calls to check on her and is shocked to learn that Steffy and Liam almost got back together. Stephanie tells Eric that Steffy is miserable. Eric says that Liam wanted to marry Hope before he was involved with Steffy. The wedding will be a new beginning for Hope, Liam, and Steffy.

The minister tells the happy couple that, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. The failures don’t matter if your heart is filled with love and good wishes. Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) speaks at the ceremony. He says that Hope has always been his daughter. He feels privileged to have loved and raised her most of her life.

Next on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) calls Liam the perfect husband for her precious daughter. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) apologizes for his behavior and stubbornness. He swears that he will never stand in the way of Hope and Liam again. He’s lucky to have Hope in his family and is proud of his son.

Liam promises to enjoy and treasure Hope and to show her every day how much she means to him. Hope promises to help Liam with anything he needs and to always be there for him. He is the one person she can talk to about anything. He will never question her priorities. Hope vows that she belongs to Liam emotionally and physically. Hope and Liam exchange rings as a token of their love and fidelity.

Steffy pauses to look at the scenery on The Bold and the Beautiful and sees the wedding happening below. She sits on the cliffside, watching as Liam kisses his new bride, picks her up, and twirls around. The townspeople attending the wedding burst into an Italian song. Steffy gets disoriented by the hot sun and the church bells and falls off the cliff into the water. As she flounders around, fully clothed, in the water, she proclaims it the worst day ever.
