The Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Wednesday August 12: Ridge Drops Wedding Bomb On Brooke, Shauna’s Second Thoughts

The Wednesday, August 12, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens as night falls on the Forrester mansion. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) raise a champagne toast to another successful scheme to wed a Forrester man. Shauna is happy to be Mrs. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) but wishes Ridge was happy too. Quinn plans to teach her bestie how to live it up as a rich woman. They are both over the moon to have the men of their dreams.

Shauna has an attack of conscience. Shauna hopes Ridge remembers the night they married. She wants him to love her as much as she loves him, but the specter of Brooke looms large over their happiness.

Quinn tells Shauna to zip her lips about their little scam and let herself be happy. All they did was sever the final tie between Ridge and Brooke. Shauna desperately wants a future from Ridge, but he was two seconds away from moving back in with Brooke. Quinn says they saved Ridge from having to move back out. Brooke is destined to sabotage their relationship again with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Shauna’s Second Thoughts

Shauna says that Quinn sabotaged her own marriage by coaching her to take Ridge’s phone when he was too drunk to notice and text Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to file the divorce papers.

Ridge is thrilled to be home with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) but his mind is on his other wife. He says that Brooke means everything to him, but fears her reaction to his news. She believes they can work through anything as husband and wife. Brooke says it’s time to renew their vows. Brooke asks him not to keep rehashing their mistakes and apologizing. They need to focus on rebuilding.

Zoe Forrester (Kiara Barnes) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) agree on a design for the new inclusion collection. Zoe longs to put the animosity behind them. She’s excited to share a vision for the new line but still feels terrible about what her father did to Hope and her baby. Hope says it’s time to let the past be in the past.

B&B Spoilers – Donna Logan Visits Eric Forrester

Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) drops by Eric Forrester’s office (John McCook) at Forrester Creations. Eric is surprised when Donna laments that she doesn’t have a social life. Eric tells Donna he came into the office because he hates choosing sides between Brooke and Quinn. Quinn was wrong to out Brooke’s misbehavior in front of their whole family.

Donna resents Quinn interfering in Brooke’s marriage so that she can free up Ridge for Shauna. Eric looks skeptical when Donna says that a Ridge and Shauna marriage will never happen in a million years. Donna doesn’t trust Quinn. Nothing will ever break Brooke and Ridge’s marriage apart.

Ridge strikes fear in Brooke’s heart when he says that something happened between him and Shauna in Vegas. Although he was too drunk to remember, he married Shauna in Las Vegas.
