The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Tuesday, August 20: Detective Sanchez Wants Thomas Arrested

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 20th finds Detective Sanchez (Jay Valdez) looking for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in connection with Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) murder.

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) discuss the future while Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) tries to convince Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that Thomas might be trying to get his revenge. Here’s what you need to know.

Hope is in the cabin and reveling in her new life as a mother. She promises Beth that they will move forward with their lives. Liam is listening from behind. He tells her that Beth is perfect, just like her mother. Beth goes to bed easily, with Hope mentioning that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) did a good job with her.

Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) arrives and tells Hope and Liam that he will file a petition on the basis of fraud. Hope says that she also wants to annul her marriage to Thomas. However, Hope says that she still wants to be a mother figure to Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri).

Talk then turns to Emma’s death. Hope expresses her condolences. Justin says that he still finds everything that happened and the recent turn of events wild. Justin also says that he’s worried Thomas might do something to her after she tells him that she wants to end their marriage.

Back at the mansion, Ridge is having a hard time contacting Thomas. Brooke is concerned, too. Douglas is there and asks about his father. Both Brooke and Ridge tell the little boy that he has nothing to worry about.

Afterwards, Brooke tells Ridge again that she’s concerned about Thomas. If he is capable of scaring his own son, who knows what he might do to Hope. She then goes as far as telling Ridge that Thomas is dangerous. Detective Sanchez arrives. He says he is investigating Thomas for Emma’s murder. Ridge insists that his son didn’t kill anyone. Detective Sanchez doesn’t look convinced and said that if Thomas doesn’t show up, he will go out and look for him.

Thomas is with his friend Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero). Thomas says the only person he can trust is Hope. Vinny thinks it’s time that Thomas chill out. Thomas says that a smug Liam is taking advantage of his wife. He doesn’t like it that Hope is with another man.

When Vinny asks about Thomas’ son, he calls him a brat that ratted him out. He then changes the subject back to Hope and says that they took their vows and that nothing will separate them until death does them apart. Thomas then says to himself that Hope is his and all his.
