‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, May 14: Steffy Refuses, Ridge’s Compensation, Katie Frets

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, May 14, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) refuses to step down.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tries to give Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) cheap compensation. Plus, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) frets.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Refuses

Ridge tries to assure Steffy. The woman refuses to step down. Steffy sees it as Ridge choosing Brooke over his own daughter.

Wow, what an infant. Steffy blames Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). Brooke’s contributions were decades ago.

Ridge can give her a spotlight and make her spokeswoman. However, Steffy is the co-CEO.

Brooke and Hope wait for news. Hope thinks Steffy is going to fight it. Hope complains about how the Logans are treated.

Steffy is a good leader, but she’s not creative. Brooke and Hope think their day is finally here.

Katie Logan Spencer Frets

At Logan, Bill Spencer (Don Daimont) talks about Brooke. The man is certain that Steffy won’t accept it. Bill says Ridge is too spineless to demote his daughter.

Katie reasons that Brooke’s demand could affect them, too. Brooke can convince Ridge to do a lot for her.

Bill tells Katie and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that Ridge has made a career out of disappointing Brooke. Katie’s worried about her relationship with Brooke.

Liam stares at his computer screen until Hope comes in. The verdict is still out. She just can’t abandon HFTF yet.

Electra Forrester Overhears

In the design office, Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) talks about body chemistry and perfume to Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).

Daphne tells her to wear it on her next date. Dylan says dating doesn’t fit into her life right now. She’s focused on work and fixing things with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).

Dylan still can’t believe she works at Forrester Creations! She wishes she and Electra were still friends.

Electra shows up and overhears. Dylan sees Electra and apologizes yet again. Daphne lets them talk privately. Electra and Dylan congratulate each other on their promotions.

Cheap Compensation

Ridge comes home with a design for Brooke. The lady wants to know about Steffy. Did he get her to agree to step down?

I don’t think a special design from Ridge is going to smooth things over with Brooke. Since Steffy is refusing, what is Ridge going to do about Brooke now?

Will Brooke be so angry she heads over to Logan along with Hope?
