‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, May 7: Brooke’s Mission, Hope Lashes Out, Family Feud

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, May 7, 2026. In today’s episode, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) embarks on a new mission. Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) defends her actions.

Venting Session

At Brooke’s house, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) continues venting. She’s poured her entire soul into the company, but Steffy is still shelving HFTF.

Hope is tired. Brooke claims it won’t be forever. Hope wonders if she can really walk away. 

Brooke asks her not to take this personally. The company simply had to redirect. Hope says it is personal. Steffy laughed in her face.

Hope wishes her mother were co-CEO. Steffy is icing her out. Brooke tries to calm Hope down, but keeps defending FC. 

Brooke tells her not to worry about Steffy.

Hope reasons her mother should be worried, too. Steffy is the Temu version of Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), but with half the talent.

The blonde doesn’t want her daughter escalating the situation. Hope keeps nagging Brooke to be the one making decisions, not Steffy. 

Career Mission

Brooke isn’t going to ask Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to replace his daughter.

Hope can’t take this much longer. As Hope keeps pressuring her mother, Brooke makes a confession.

She also feels lost at FC. Hope is going to show what she’s worth, and Brooke should too. The blonde finally agrees. She deserves to run Forrester Creations!

Weighing the Scale

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) are still talking about Hope.

Liam thinks FC is stealing Hope’s soul.

Liam reasons Brooke is more of a Forrester now thanks to Ridge. Katie worries Brooke will view hiring Hope as a betrayal.

Liam goes over all of Hope’s achievements. Hope can’t take it anymore, Liam says. 

Liam gets that hiring Hope is a risk, but she’s plugged into Katie’s fanbase. This could be huge!

Katie wonders if it will ruin things with Brooke and Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis).

Girl, if they can’t be happy for you, then they don’t matter.

Family Feud

Steffy and Ridge argue about Hope. Steffy says Hope needs to suck it up. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) enters and joins the chat.

Steffy thinks Hope should be grateful she’s even at FC.

Ridge suggests Steffy use a softer touch with Hope.

Laughing in her face certainly wasn’t professional or a solution.

Carter says they could lose Hope just like they lost Katie. Steffy insists Hope will go nowhere!

Carter leaves. Steffy tells Ridge that they can’t worry about people’s feelings. Unless it’s Steffy’s feelings, of course.
