The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Tuesday, May 19, 2026. In today’s episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) gains a new perspective on a rival. Meanwhile, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) feels the sting of being betrayed by her mother.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) vents to Taylor about Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Taylor thinks it’s awful that Brooke asked her to step down as co-CEO.

Steffy will let it slide this time, only because she got through to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Taylor is glad Ridge did the right thing. Steffy admits Brooke kinda helped.

Taylor Hayes’ New Perspective

Steffy explains that Brooke made it right in the end. They both reel over Brooke having self-awareness.

Wow, snotty much? Steffy tells her mother that Brooke sent her a nice text message.

Zende Forrester Dominguez Confesses

Ridge and Brooke make out in the office. The blonde is shocked he is awake after last night. Brooke says she’s not angry and understands his decision. RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) enters and gets grossed out.

Brooke leaves as Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) walks in with Eric Forrester (John McCook). They go over sketches.

Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) offers to help. The man chimes in that his grandmother used to sew, and he helped.

Eric Forrester’s Reminder

Charlie exits, so everyone gushes about Zende’s designs. He’s still upset about HFTF. Gen Z misses it too, he says. Eric says they can’t ignore their younger customers.

Ridge says couture comes first. Eric says Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) can’t compete with the four of them.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) questions Katie and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Hope.

Liam says it all depends on if Brooke got the co-CEO position.

Liam says FC is a part of Hope, so it’s hard for her to say goodbye to it.

Steffy staying in charge is just the push Hope needs to join Logan, Liam tells them.

Hope Logan Spencer Betrayed

At the house, Hope is waiting for her mother. Brooke enters and explains what happened.

The bonde says this is not going the way Hope wants.

Brooke admits asking Ridge to sacrifice his daughter was too much.

Hope accuses her mother of choosing Ridge over her.

Brooke says Ridge will support Hope by talking to Steffy about the line.

Hope thinks this is only goin to make things worse.

Brooke says FC is her family and home. Hope devoted her life to it, but look what is happening to her. She can’t take it anymore!

Steffy is always looking for something to keep her down. She can’t do it!

Brooke tells her she has to hang on. Hope starts sobbing and tells Brooke she disappointed her when she needed her the most.
